who is she

I am a Californian born and raised in sunny San Luis Obispo. This is my fourth year as an architecture student at Cal Poly, and when I am not in the architecture studio, I am dancing ballet, playing my banjo, sewing clothes, cooking, hanging out with pals, hiking, or reading!

At DIS, my core course is Interior Architecture, and I will also be taking Danish Language and Culture I, and Nordic Mythology. I will be living in a Kollegium.

I am a hardcore chronicler, I write down everything I do and keep about five lists running at all times. I love to read, and will always keep you posted on what I'm currently consuming. My favorite author is Steinbeck, with Willa Cather and Annie Proulx coming in at a hot second. I love books about California, the American West, history, love, and just any great human stories. Check out my Goodreads and if you have any recommendations please email me!

First and foremost, I am an architecture student! This means I do a lot of model building and drafting.

I like to sew and play my banjo in my spare time. On the left is a collection of clothes I sewed and modeled for the Cal Poly fashion show!

I am always on the move, and dancing ballet is my favorite pastime. When I am not dancing, I love to do yoga. I've been attempting (emphasis on the attempt) a headstand recently.

I worked on a flower farm, and am on the Cal Poly Floral Design Team! I love anything to do with the growing, harvesting and designing of flowers. I also love to travel and experience new places and cultures. I am a big fan of history.
